Obituary

Frederick J. Pippen, 77, passed away Sunday, October 2, 2011 at Compassionate Care Hospice in Trenton. Born and raised in Trenton, he has resided in Bordentown for the last eight years. He was a member of the Special Police for the Air Force during the Korean War and retired from State Sales Office Equipment of Trenton.

Son of the late Frederick and Marion Pippen and brother of the late Elizabeth Ervin, he is survived by his wife of 23 years, Dorothy M. Pippen (nee Douglas), two sons and daughters-in-law; Fred and Cindy Pippen and Michael and Kathleen Pippen both of Columbus, a daughter; Lisa Douglas of Bordentown, his brother; William Pippen of New Egypt and his sister; Doris Robillard of Yardley, PA, seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

A Memorial Service celebrating Fred's life will be 11 am Thursday, October 6 at the Peppler Funeral Home, 122 Crosswicks St., Bordentown. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family. Friends may call from 9 am until time of service at the funeral home.
