Frederick O. Yaple Jr., of Cream Ridge, passed away Friday, August 21St at his home surrounded by his family. Born in Trenton, Fred was a graduate of Hamilton High School West and a longtime Yardville resident before moving to Cream Ridge in 1998. A graduate of Lehigh University, Fred was a World War II veteran serving in China. He was a longtime employee of John A. Roebling Steel and retired from the State of New Jersey, Department of Environment Protection as an engineer, where his coworkers fondly referred to him as Uncle Fred.

Son of the late Fred O Yaple, Sr. and Grace W. Yaple and predeceased by his wife, Lois P. Yaple, he is survived by his three children and their spouses; Mark and Patricia Yaple of West Trenton, Nancy and Richard Marino of Bordentown and Robin and Raymond Meyers of Pacific Palisades, CA and his four grandchildren, Randy Yaple, Christopher Yaple, Stephanie Marino and Ethan Meyers.

Graveside service will be private and at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Holy Redeemer Hospice, Ocean County Division, 6550 Delilah Rd., Egg Harbor Twp., NJ 08234.
