Frederic Warren Leary, 68, of Bordentown, passed away Thursday, January 31st at Care One of Ewing Twp. Born in Cambridge, Mass, he was a lifetime Bordentown area resident. A U.S. Navy Veteran, Mr. Leary worked for the State of New Jersey, Division of Taxation. He was a former American Legion Commander of Post 26 in Bordentown, an active member of the Knights of Columbus, where he served as the past Grand Knight, and a charter member of the Ancient Order of the Hibernians of Hamilton. He also served on the Bordentown Twp. School Board. Mr. Leary enjoyed traveling and taking cruises.
Son of the late Timothy and Mildred Leary, he survived by his children, Ann M. Rulkiewicz and her husband Paul, Timothy J. Leary and his wife Sharon, Mary E. Leary and Sean F. Leary and his wife Peggysue all of Ewing Twp.; his partner of many years, Anne Price and her son Robert of Bordentown; his sister Janice Cunningham and her husband Charles of Waldorf. MD; grandchildren Sarah, Nicholas, Daniel, Amanda, Ryan and Shannon and his former wife, Joann Fort of Ewing.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday 10am at St. Mary's Church, 45 Crosswicks St. Bordentown. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery. Friends may call Wednesday 7-9pm at the Peppler Funeral Home, 122 Crosswicks St. Bordentown, NJ.
