Obituary

Frank J. Toleno, Sr. 66 of Allentown passed away Wednesday, November 6, 2013 at his home. Born in Trenton, he grew up in Lawrenceville and was a longtime Allentown resident. A graduate of Trenton High School, Frank was a US Air Force veteran, serving during the Vietnam Era. He retired from the US Postal Service where he worked at the Trenton Office for 39 years. Frank was a member of the Yardville VFW Post 491 and was a former post commander. An avid golfer, Frank enjoyed sports, especially playing softball. In his younger years, he was an active outdoorsman, enjoying hunting and fishing. Frank was a loving husband and a devoted father and grandfather.

Son of the late Charles and Katherine Toleno; he was predeceased by his brother, David Toleno. Frank is survived by his wife of 23 years, Janice Toleno; his children, Deana and Matt Grassi, Frank Jr. and Jamie Toleno, Anthony Toleno and Megan DiBiasio and her husband Nicholas; grandchildren, Kyrsten, Matthew, Theresa, Jadyn, Giada and Joelle; his brother and sister-in-law, Charles and Theresa Toleno; his half sisters and their husbands, Cindy and Issa Yammine, Cheryl Geibel and Lenna and Charles Lewis as well as many nieces and nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10am on Monday, November 11th at St. John's Church, 1282 Yardville –Allentown Rd., Allentown. Interment will follow in Ewing Church Cemetery. Friends may call Sunday from 5-8pm at the Peppler Funeral Home, 114 S. Main St. Allentown. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758517, Topeka, KS 66675.
