Frank F. Scharite, 87, of Allentown, passed away Tuesday, June 28, 2011 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, Hamilton.  Born in Trenton, Frank was a graduate of Hamilton High School. A World War II Army veteran, he retired as a sheet metal worker from Local Union #27. Frank had a strong passion for photography and enjoyed boating, fishing and crabbing. He loved spending time with his family. He was outspoken, very witty and was constantly making jokes with everyone he came in contact with.

Predeceased by his two sons, Edward and Carl Scharite, Frank is survived by his wife of 63 years, Joan Scharite; five grandchildren, Brett Ashley, Paige, Lisa, Derek and Emily Scharite; two sisters, Marian and her husband Donald Wood and Carmella Zauner; a daughter-in-law, Judy Scharite as well as several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held 4pm on Friday, July 1 ^st at the Peppler Funeral Home, 114 So. Main St. Allentown. Friends may call from 2pm until the time of service at the funeral home. Inurnment will follow at the Ellisdale Cemetery.
