Frank W. Nowicki, age 81, of Columbus, passed away Thursday at his home. Born in Sayreville, he resided in Yardville for many years before moving to Columbus 15 years ago. A WWII US Navy veteran, Mr. Nowicki, retired from NJ Central Power and Light in 1987 and NADE in 2005 A member of the American Legion Post 31; he served as past president of the Polish American Club for 6 years.

Son of the late Adam and Mary Nowicki, he was predeceased by two brothers, Leon and Daniel, he is survived by his wife Alice Nowicki; three stepchildren, Edward Ellingham and his wife Dawn of Columbus, George Ellingham of Clearwater, FL and Nannette Pallack and her husband George of Chesterfield; a sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Nannette and Jack Manley of Southampton, PA; two cousins, Florence and Edmund Roginski; eight grandchildren, four great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday 9:30 am at Sacred Heart Church, 224 North Feltus St., South Amboy, NJ. Interment will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, South Amboy. Friends may call Monday 7-9 pm at the Peppler Funeral Home, 122 Crosswicks St. Bordentown, NJ 08505.
