Obituary

Francis J. Studnicky, 73, of Princeton Junction, died Thursday, February 12th at Merwick Care Center, Princeton. Born in Elizabeth, he resided most of his life in Newark and Irvington. A US Army veteran, serving during the Korean War, he was a former driver's aide for NJ State Commissioners H. Matt Adams and Robert A. Roe. He later retired from the United Parcel Service. Mr. Studnicky was a member of the West Windsor Twp. Senior Center and the Washington Twp. Nutrition Center.

He is survived by a son, Eric T. Studnicky of Springfield; two daughters, Laurie and her husband, Kevin Duffy of Green Twp., and Kristen A. Studnicky of Union; a grandson, Dylan Duffy and a sister, Diane DeMartino of Bricktown.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10am Tuesday in St. Johns Church 1282 Allentown Yardville Rd. Allentown. Interment will follow in Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Arneytown. Friends may call, Monday 6-8pm at the Peppler Funeral Home, 114 S. Main St., Allentown, NJ. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 3076 Princeton Pike, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648.
