Frances N. Shoemaker (nee Buhrman), 75, passed away Thursday September 18, at her home with her family by her side. Born in Camden, NJ , she had resided in Maple Shade for 35 years, before moving to Burlington Township in 1993. She attended High School in Dayton, OH and was a 30 year employee of Barry Bronze Manufacturing of Camden. She was a member of the Civil Air Patrol and a long-time broker for Weichert Realtors working in Moorestown and Burlington. ""Fran"" loved roller skating , traveling with her husband and having parties for her many friends. She will be sorely missed by all who knew her and we wish her God speed in her new journey.
She is survived by her husband retired Lt Col James A. Shoemaker USAF, of Burlington, loving mother of Carol Booth PHD..and Barbara Taylor MSN and loving step-mother of James A. Shoemaker II, Mary F. Cockerill, and Susan L. Shoemaker. Grandmother of Colleen Booth and step grandmother of Max and William Cockerill and James A. III and Kathryn Shoemaker.
Calling hours for Frances will be Sunday 3 to 5 pm, with a funeral service beginning at 5 pm, at the Peppler Funeral Home, 122 Crosswicks St., Bordentown, NJ. Interment will be Monday 11 am at Lakeview Memorial Park, Route 130, Cinnaminson. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Samaritan Hospice, 5 Eves Drive, Suite 300, Marlton, NJ 08053
