Florence E. Bender, 76, of Whiting, passed away Tuesday at Compassionate Care Hospice, Trenton. Born in New Brunswick, NJ, she resided in Robbinsville for many years before moving to Whiting. Florence was employed by Arnold Constable in New Brunswick for a time before leaving to raise her family. She enjoyed being outside and was an avid walker. She loved being at the shore, going to the boardwalk and occasional trips to Atlantic City.

Wife of the late Edward Bender, she is survived by her son, Michael Bender of Chesterfield; her daughter and son-in-law, Deborah and Mitch Brown; her granddaughter Alexa Brown all of Lawrenceville; her sisters Dori and Shirley of Homosassa, Fl and several nieces and nephews.

Memorial service will be held Friday 11:30 am at the Peppler Funeral Home, 114 S. Main St. Allentown. Friends may call 11am until the time of service.
