Faye R. Welch, 88, of Mercerville, passed away Sunday, August 28, 2022, with her family by her side.  Born in Hightstown, Faye was a graduate of Hamilton High West.  She served as a former Sunday school teacher at West Minster Presbyterian Church and as a troop leader for her daughters' girl scout troops.  After her children went to college, Faye worked for Princeton Medical Group for several years.

A member of Chesterfield Baptist Church, Faye loved to travel, visiting almost every state in the US, and enjoyed spending time at the beach. Above all, Faye's greatest love was her family.  She was a loving and supportive wife and mother and was a proud and adoring grandmother and great grandmother.

Predeceased by her parents, Alvin and Virginia Reed and by her sister, Joan Reed and husband James Reed, Faye is survived by her husband of 70 years, Vernon Welch; her daughters and sons-in-law, Verna Lynne and Richard Dickson, Cathy and Andy Beal, and Karen and Neil Collins; her grandchildren, Heather, Courtney, and Kevin Dickson, Kenny Beal and his wife Larissa, Christine Beal, Danielle Fiorenza and her husband Drew, and Shannon Stevenson and her husband George; her great grandchildren, Sophia, Ewan, Oliver, Henry, Collins, Hattie, and George, III; her lifelong friends, Carol and Charles Howell and Barbara Ford, as well as several nieces, nephews and extended family.

A viewing will be held Thursday, September 1 ^st from 6-8pm at the Peppler Funeral Home, 114 S. Main St. Allentown.  Funeral Service will be held 10am on Friday at Chesterfield Baptist Church, 209 Matthews Lane, Chesterfield, NJ.  Interment will follow in North Crosswicks Cemetery, Hamilton.
