Obituary

Evelyn M. Osborn passed away Wednesday, October 21, 2020, her 95 th birthday, at her home, surrounded by her family.  Born in Trenton, she resided in Cream Ridge for most of her life.  Evelyn worked on the family farm and was an active volunteer for several groups including Meals On Wheels, the Jamesburg Veteran Home, and Ranch Hope.  Evelyn was also a former Cub Scout Pack Mother and former member of the Allentown Needlework Guild and the Emley's Hill United Methodist Church.

Daughter of the late Charles and Anna Leach, she was predeceased by her husband of 64 years, Leslie H. Osborn and her brother, Robert Leach.  Evelyn is survived by her sister Irene Lincoln; her son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Deborah Osborn of Cream Ridge; her daughter and son-in-law, Terri and David Tindall of Robbinsville; her grandchildren, Beverly Gallant and her husband Kevin, Michele French and her husband Jim, Samantha Lamanna and her husband Charlie, Alison Tindall and Nathan Tindall; great grandchildren, Hudson, David, Savannah Makayla, Charlee and Dana, their grandmother Joan Osborn; extended family and special friend and caretaker, Charlotte Blyden and her daughter, Britney; extended family Jennifer Lee and her son, Zachary as well as several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held 10:30am on Wednesday, October 28 th in the Allentown Methodist Cemetery, Broad and Hamilton St., Allentown.  Memorial contributions may be made in Evelyn's name to the Talking Book and Braille Center, C/O the NJ State Library, Attn: Development Dept., 2300 Stuyvesant Ave., Trenton, NJ 08618 or to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 22478, Oklahoma City, OK 73123.

Please be advised that social distancing must be observed at the cemetery and face coverings must be worn.

Arrangements are under the direction of Peppler Funeral Home, Allentown.
