Evelyn C. Miller, 64, of Cream Ridge, passed away Sunday at Samaritan Hospice, Mt. Holly. Born in Fieldsboro, she resided in the Florence area for most of her life before moving to Cream Ridge 23 years ago. Evelyn retired from the State of New Jersey after 36 years of employment, where she was a supervisor for the Department of Superior Court, Judiciary Foreclosure Section. She loved going to the shore, spending time there for 25 years. Evelyn also enjoyed crafts and loved her animals.

Daughter of the late Robert and Mary Smith and sister of the late James Smith, she is survived by her husband Richard of 44 years; brother Robert Smith; aunt, Sylvia Miller; brother-in-law, Kenneth and his wife Betty Miller; sister-in-law, Sharon and her husband David Crum; nieces, Laura VanMalden and Mary Ellen Desaro and nephews James Smith, Mark Crum, Christian Crum and Robert Miller.

Graveside service will be held Wednesday 2pm at the Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery, Arneytown. Friends may call Wednesday 12:30 â?? 1:30pm at the Peppler Funeral Home, 114 S. Main St. Allentown. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Samaritan Hospice, 5 Eves Dr. Suite 300, Marlton, NJ 08053.
