Evadnie Bright, 84 of New Egypt, passed away Thursday, January 3, 2019 at Deborah Heart and Lung. Born in the Coffee Ground District of Jamaica; she moved to New Egypt, NJ in 1952. Evadnie enjoyed working outside and had a beautiful garden. She loved her homeland of Jamaica and was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
Daughter of the late Samuel and Jane Eldemire and wife of the late Norman Bright, she was predeceased by her daughter-in-law, Betsy Bright and her 8 siblings. Evadnie is survived by her children and their spouses, Norman and Christine Bright of Ft. Lauderdale, Fl, Cynthia and James Newell of New Egypt, Camille and Bruce Horner of New Egypt, Philip Bright of Maryland, Derek Bright of Las Vegas, David Bright of San Diego and Stephanie Titko of Wrightstown; her grandchildren, Norman, Matthew, Catherine and Jennifer Bright, Brittney, Bruce, Chelsea and Sarah Horner, Philip, Josie, Derek, Heather, David Bright and Justine, Shannon and Georgia Titko; her nephew and nieces, Kenneth and Veb Whittingham, Lorraine Martin and Theresa Karson as well as many great grandchildren.
Funeral Service will be private under the direction of Peppler Funeral Home, Allentown. Memorial contributions in Evadnie's name may be made to Deborah Hospital Foundation, 212 Trenton Rd., Browns Mills, NJ 08015.
