Eugene ""Gene"" J. Ciarrocca, 64, passed away Saturday, February 20, 2010, at Compassionate Care Hospice in Trenton. Born in Philadelphia, PA, he had lived in Bordentown City most of his life and also resided in Long Beach Island for the last 25 years Gene was a U S Air Force Veteran during the Vietnam War. He had worked for Bordentown City as a special police officer for 8 years and as its Welfare Director for 22 years. He was employed by Metropolitan Life Insurance Company for 15 years prior to establishing Bonaparte Real Estate and Insurance of Trenton. He was a past president of the Bordentown Kiwanis Club and a member of the Mercer Lodge #50 F & AM of Trenton.

Son of the late Eugene J. Sr. and Genevieve Ciarrocca, he is survived by his beloved wife of 47 years, Judy A. Ciarrocca, two sons, Peter Ciarrocca and his wife Susan and Paul Ciarrocca and his fiancé Julia Sexton and a wonderful Pop-Pop to Cameron, Brett and Luna Ciarrocca all of Bordentown City.

Friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Gene's life on Thursday 5 to 8 pm at the Peppler Funeral Home, 122 Crosswicks St., Bordentown, NJ.
