Obituary

Ethel M. Schuler, 88, passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side on Friday, July 15, 2011 at the Granville House Senior Living Community in Burlington, NJ. Before moving to Burlington, she was a resident of the Homestead Community in Columbus, NJ.  Ethel retired from McGraw-Hill in Hightstown, NJ in 1968. She had many hobbies such as gardening, sewing, painting still life's in oil & pen and ink drawing. She also enjoyed drying flowers and making beautiful pictures with them. She enjoyed being with her family and was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

Ethel was the last of six children born to the late George A., Sr. and Anna Hofmeyer, was wife of the late Omer J. Schuler. She will be missed by her two daughters, Dolores M. Chappell and her husband Douglas of Bordentown Township and Doris E. Booth and her husband Edwin of Imlaystown, NJ. Two grandchildren, Victoria L. Carr and her husband Robert Jr. of Eastampton, NJ and Jeffrey S. Booth and his wife Sonja of Robbinsville, NJ. She also has five great grandchildren who will miss her dearly, Alexandria and Breanna Carr, Jennifer and Johnathan Booth and Katharyn Lass. She also leaves behind a sister-in-law, Adele Hofmeyer and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be 11 am Friday, July 22 at the Peppler Funeral Home, 122 Crosswicks St., Bordentown, NJ. Interment will follow in Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery in North Hanover Twp. Friends may call Friday morning from 10 am until time of service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers donations in Ethel's memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, Delaware Valley Chapter, Suite 102, Philadelphia, PA 19106.
