Ethel F. Peper, 90, of Jackson, passed away Wednesday, January 14, 2015 at her daughter's home. Born in Union City, NJ she was a resident of Bergenfield for 60 years. Ethel worked for Roofer Supply in Dumont, NJ for many years and was an active member of the Clinton Avenue Reformed Church in Bergenfield. She was a caring woman who volunteered with many organizations and was always helping people in need. She enjoyed bowling, making crafts and spending time with her beloved family. Ethel was a loving and devoted wife and mother and adored her grandchildren.

Predeceased in November by her husband of 69 years, Henry T. Peper; Ethel is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Karen and Michael Johnson of Lee's Summit, MO and Donna and Dennis Unger of Jackson; her grandchildren, Stacey Zimmerle and her husband Joseph, Brian Johnson and his wife Lauren, Dennis Unger, Kristen Vendetti and her husband Peter and Daniel Unger and his wife Danielle; her great grandchildren, Hannah and Carter Zimmerle, Peter and Gina Vendetti and Kara Unger; a brother, Theodore Thompson as well as nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service will be held 12:00 noon on Thursday, January 22nd at the Peppler Funeral Home, 114 S. Main St. Allentown. Interment will follow in the Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery, Arneytown. Friends may call Thursday from 10am until the time of service.
