IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Estelle
Erb
July 23, 1936 – November 24, 2023
Estelle Erb, 87, of Allentown, passed away Friday, November 24, 2023 at Meadow Lakes in Hightstown. Born in New Brunswick, NJ, she was a longtime Hightstown area resident. Estelle co-owned Hightstown Gulf Service with her husband George and also worked for Flowers by Evelyn, but her full-time job was caring for her family. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who loved spending time with her family.
Very patriotic, Estelle volunteered for the USO and was a member of the historical society of Jamesburg. She was an avid history buff, especially about the civil war, and made and wore her own civil war era dresses. She was very proud of her great grandfather, James Emens who served in the civil war and shook Abraham Lincoln's hand. She loved the outdoors, reading, and singing and was a member of the Ralph E. Marriot Choir. Estelle was an all around good person who loved being with people and sharing history and stories with them. She was also blessed to have childhood friends that spanned 80 plus years.
Daughter of the late William and Blanche Siemons, she was predeceased by her husband George H. Erb, Jr., her siblings, Dorothy Reid, William Siemons, Jr., and Richard Siemons. Estelle is survived by her children, Brian K. and Denise Erb, Mary Louise and Rocco Nestore, Jeanette Elaine and Tom Jones, George H. III and Dawn Erb, and Karen Lynn and Jim Dauphars; grandchildren, Laura Erb and fiancé Jess, Margaret and Dan Gentz, Brian K. Jr. and Theresa Erb, Amanda Stettler and Owen, William Stettler, III, Thomas and Jamie Jones, Stephanie Jones, Danielle and Chris Rizzo, Meredith Dauphars, and Tina and Justin Alicchio as well as 15 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held 11 am on Friday, December 1st at Peppler Funeral Home, 114 So. Main St. Allentown. Interment will follow in East Windsor Cemetery.
