Emma Elaine “Moog” Powell, 87, of Chesterfield, NJ passed away at home surrounded by her family on May 3, 2026. Emma was born in Trenton to Frank and Violet Consolloy on March 6, 1939. She attended Hamilton High School West and had worked for the State of N.J. Division of Taxation and Motor Vehicles for 14 years.

Emma was an avid bowler where she was on a competitive team at Whitehorse Bowling Lanes. She also was a fan of the Philadelphia Phillies and the New York Giants. She enjoyed gardening, especially growing and decorating pumpkins and seeing who can grow the largest.

Predeceased by her parents Frank and Violet, her son Ronald, nephew Larry, brother Merle and Frank and sister Hazel Rockhill, she is survived by her beloved husband of 68 years George W. Powell, her daughter and son-in-law: Sherry and Pat Horner, her son and daughter-in-law: George and Glenda Powell, her brother and sister-in-law: David and GiGi and sister-in-law: Dorothy Consolloy. Her grandchildren: Patrick, Timothy, Meghan, George and Kyle. Great grandchildren: Madison, Austin and Tatum and many nieces and nephews.

A viewing for Emma will be held Tuesday, May 12 from 6 to 8 pm at the Peppler Funeral Home, 122 Crosswicks St, Bordentown, NJ. Funeral services will begin at 8 pm. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
