Obituary

Emma C. Potter, 99, of New Egypt, passed away Monday, July 27, 2015 at Arcadia Nursing and Rehab in Hamilton. Born in Trenton she was a graduate of Hamilton High School and lived in Groveville for 30 years before moving to New Egypt. During WWII Emma worked as a drafter for Eastern Aircraft (now General Motors), and retired as a clerk from the State of NJ Dept. of Corrections. She was a member of Groveville United Methodist Church and was very active with the Groveville U.M.C Ladies Society.

Daughter of the late Christopher and Laura Carson, Emma was predeceased by her husband Harold Potter. She is survived by her son and daughter-in law, Carl A. and Linda Potter of Lanoka Harbor; her daughter and son-in-law, Phyllis and Michael Amico of New Egypt; her brother, Christopher Carson; her grandchildren, Shannon and Chris Perdoni, Christina Potter, JoAnna and Kevin Mihm, Michele and Charles Ford, Michael and Tracey Amico, Monica and David Wright, Maria and Greg Adams and Margo Ent; 15 great grandchildren, one great great grandchild on the way, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 10am Thursday, July 30th at Peppler Funeral Home, 114 So. Main St., Allentown. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery, Hamilton. Friends may call Wednesday from 7 to 9pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Groveville U.M.C. 447 Church St., Groveville, NJ 08620.
