Elsie F. Probasco, 100, of Cream Ridge, passed away Tuesday, May 2, 2023 at her home. Born in New York, NY, she moved to Plainsboro as a child and was a graduate of Princeton High School. Elsie retired from the State of New Jersey, Department of Corrections. She was a longtime member of Allentown Presbyterian Church and enjoyed going on camping trips with her family. Family was most important to Elsie and she was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.

Daughter of the late Oscar and Grace Fowler, she was predeceased by her husband of 68 years, Milton V. Probasco Sr., by her son, Milton "Van" Probasco Jr., her brother and sister-in-law, Glenn and Nancy Fowler, sisters and brother-in-law, Margaret Kendall and Dorothy and Charles Barkley, and by her son-in-law, Sherm Cooper, III. Elsie is survived by her children, Sherry and Barry Wright, William and Susan Probasco, Jeff and Joyce Probasco, Marc Probasco and Diane Sullivan, Patti Cooper and Mark Juza, and Chris and Pattie Probasco; her daughter-in-law, Kim Probasco; 19 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren. Elsie is also survived by her many nieces and nephews.

A viewing will be held Monday, May 8 ^th from 6-8pm at the Peppler Funeral Home, 114 S. Main St. Allentown. Funeral Service will be held at 11am on Tuesday, May 9 ^th at Allentown Presbyterian Church, 20 High St., Allentown, NJ. Interment will follow at Cream Ridge Cemetery.
