Obituary

Elmer "Chut" Harrison, 82, of Lawrenceville, formerly of Bucks County, passed away Friday, October 9, 2015 at Capital Health Systems, Fuld, surrounded by his family. Born in Trenton, he attended Trenton High School before entering the Navy during the Korean Conflict where he was stationed on the USS Randall APA 224. Chut retired from P.S.E. &G. as a Chief Lineman after 40 years of employment. After retirement, Chut and his wife Anna resided in North Myrtle Beach, SC for 17 years, where he was a member of the Newcomers Association and the Tilghman Forest Home Association.

Son of the late Elmer Ellsworth and Mildred Goslin Harrison, he was predeceased by his sister and her husband, Dolores and John Smith. Chut is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Anna Durcanin Harrison and will be missed by his beloved children, Adella Mildred Harrison of Holland, PA and Scott Bradley Harrison and his wife Marcia of Greenville, SC. He is also survived by his niece, Cynthia Battista and her late husband Anthony and two nephews and their wives, John and Eileen Smith and Joseph and Anne Smith.

A Celebration of Life will be celebrated 11am on Wednesday, October 14th at the Peppler Funeral Home, 114 S. Main St. Allentown. Family and friends may call Wednesday from 10 – 11am at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Make A Wish Foundation of South Carolina, 225 S. Pleasantburg Dr., Greenville, SC 29607.
