Ellen Williams, 77, of Burlington City, N.J. passed away Tuesday, August 8, 2017 at Virtua-Memorial Hospital in Mt. Holly. Born in Ellisdale, N.J. on August 7, 1940, she was a graduate of Pemberton High School and loved commuting to New York for her job. She transferred to Colorado and retired to Florida from Kodak as a technician. She enjoyed going to the casinos and loved fashion and fine jewelry.

Daughter of the late Daniel and Myrtle Scott, she is survived by three children, Norma Troutman (Johnnie), Norman Williams (Sylvia) and Cynthia Williams; her grandchildren, Ashley, Benjamin, Xavier, Ivory, Avery, Emory, Mark and Drew; her great grandchildren Elijah, Isaiah, Xavier, Legend and Tristan; her siblings, Daniel Scott (Gloria), Mary Jackson, Nancy Long (Richard), Henderson Scott, Viola Scott (T. Wayne) Linda Griffin, Barbara Talley, Delores Bennett and Betty Mims; a sister-in-law, Emma Joe Scott; as well as many other nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her siblings: Annie Jackson, Larry Scott, Randolph Scott,Robert Scott, Walter Scott and Alfonso Scott

Funeral service will held Tuesday, August 15th at the Allentown AME Church, 72 Church St., Allentown, N.J. Interment will be held in Allentown Methodist Cemetery. Friends may call 10am, Tuesday until time of service 11:00 a.m. Arrangements under the direction of Peppler Funeral Home, Allentown, N.J.
