Ellen M. Vargas , 60, passed away on Friday, October 28, 2022 at Virtua Marlton Hospital in Evesham Township, NJ. Born in Lowe, MA., she had lived in many locations due to being part of a military family. She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother and will be deeply missed.

Ellen was one of six children and is survived by her brothers John Jr., Joseph, Arthur and her sister Catherine.

She is survived by her children from her first marriage: Michael Espenschied Jr, his wife Rebecca and their three children Ziva, Tahlia and Carter. Her son John Espenschied, his wife Ashley and their children Robert, Leno and Alex. Richard Espenschied his wife Morgan and his children Devon and Lillyan

Ellen was also married to Charles L. Vargas and is survived by her children: Jason Vargas, his wife Hilary Vargas and their son Jacob, Kelly Doherty and husband TJ Doherty and their children Malcom and Sylvia.

A gathering with the family will be held Saturday, November 5 from 2 to 4 pm at the Peppler Funeral Home, 122 Crosswicks St, Bordentown, NJ. A memorial service celebrating Ellen's life will be held at 3:30 pm. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
