Elizabeth J. Scharding, 100, passed away Sunday, January 13, 2013 at the Masonic Home of New Jersey in Burlington.  Born and raised in Englewood, NJ, she resided in Fort Lee before moving to the Masonic Home, 9 years ago. Elizabeth worked as the director of food service for the Englewood school district and was a member of the Amore Chapter #176 OES of Bogota, NJ and the Bergen Rebekah Lodge.

Daughter of the late Julius and Margaret Nichols and wife of the late Frank P. Scharding, she is survived by her beloved daughter, Doris Scharding of Clifton and her nephew Dean Nichols.

A memorial service will be celebrated 2 pm Saturday, February 2nd at the Masonic Home Chapel, 902 Jacksonville Rd, Burlington.  Interment will be private and at the convenience of the Family.  Arrangements are under the direction of Peppler Funeral Home, Bordentown.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Elizabeth's name to the Masonic Home Charity, 902 Jacksonville Road, Burlington, NJ 08505.
