Elizabeth "Betty" Ann Laird, 65, of Levittown, PA, passed away peacefully at home on Wed. Nov. 9, 2016, after a long battle with leukemia. Born in Trenton, NJ and raised in Morrisville, PA, she was a resident of Trenton and Hamilton NJ for over 45 years until moving to Levittown, PA, in 2013.

She was preceded in death by her companion of 27 years, Leonard Formolo, and her siblings, Robert Laird Jr. and Patricia Laird.

Elizabeth is survived by her children, Tracy Laird, Robert Laird, and Sandy Heller and his wife, Adrien Heller. She is also survived by her sisters, Terry Duncan and Carolann Laird; aunts, Catherine Heil and Elizabeth Forcina; uncle, Robert Gaug; sister-in-law, Barbara Laird, and nieces, nephews, and many cousins.

Funeral services will be held at 12 noon on Monday, Nov. 14, at The Peppler Funeral Home, 114 Main St, Allentown, NJ 08501. Visitation will be Monday, Nov. 14, from 10 a.m. to 12 noon at the funeral home.

Donations can be made in Elizabeth Laird's memory supporting Dr. David Porter's research at Penn Medicine's Abramson Cancer Center. Checks should be made payable to 'Trustees of the University of Pennsylvania' and indicate Elizabeth Laird on the memo line.
