Elizabeth A. Johnson, 82, of Roosevelt, passed away Monday, January 6, 2020. Born in Trenton, to the late Abraham and Veronica Byer, she grew up in Allentown where her father was the owner and operator of Byer's Pharmacy on Main St. She later moved to Roosevelt where she resided for most of her life and worked as a teacher for Roosevelt Public School.

Predeceased by her parents, Abraham and Veronica Byer, she was predeceased by her husband, Carl Johnson. Elizabeth is survived by her son, Mark Peters; two daughters and sons-in-law, Karen and Paul Kertesz and Kristin and Glenn Hansen; her grandchildren, Karley, Kevin, Kaitey, Kaitlin, Glenn Jr. and Jake; her brother and sister-in-law, John and Judy Byer as well as several nieces and nephews.

A viewing will be held from 11-12pm on Saturday, January 11 ^th followed by a funeral service at 12pm at the Peppler Funeral Home, 114 S. Main St., Allentown. Interment will follow in Roosevelt Cemetery.
