Elizabeth DeViney, 72, of Warrington, PA passed away Sunday, April 3, 2016 in Doylestown Hospital. Born in New Brunswick, Elizabeth resided in Flemington, NJ and New Hope, PA for most of her life, prior to moving to Warrington. She was a graduate of Rutgers University where she earned her Doctorate in Psychology. Elizabeth was the former Director of the Department of Psychiatry at Morristown Memorial Hospital and later worked in Private Practice Psychology. She was compassionate and dedicated to her career and her clients. Elizabeth also had a generous spirit and devoted much of her time to charity work and helping others.
Daughter of the late Elton T. and Frances K. DeViney, Elizabeth is survived her aunts and uncle, Eleanor Dunay and William and Marilyn Calvo. She is also survived by her close friend, Lisa Saharic and her children, Danielle, Emily and her husband Mitch and Stewart as well as many cousins.
Funeral services will be held 11am on Friday, April 8th at the Peppler Funeral Home, 114 S. Main St. Allentown. Interment will follow in Jacobstown Baptist Cemetery. Friends may call Thursday from 4-7pm at the funeral home.
