Elizabeth Brick Collier, 95, of Chesterfield Twp., passed away Thursday, January 22, 2015 at her home. Born in Crosswicks, she was a lifetime resident of the Crosswicks and Chesterfield area. A graduate of George School, Mrs. Collier earned her Bachelor's degree from Connecticut College. With her husband, G. William Collier, she established the G. William Collier Agency in Robbinsville and was active with the company for over 50 years. Mrs. Collier was an active member and served as treasurer of the Crosswicks Monthly Meeting of the Religious Society of Friends for many years. She enjoyed spending the summer in Harvey Cedars as well as living at the farm in Chesterfield Twp. She was an avid tennis player and loved to play bridge. Mrs. Collier was devoted to her family and had a genuine affection for people and her friends. She was inspirational and touched the lives of many people. She will be greatly missed.


Daughter of the late Arthur R. and Clara Brick, she was predeceased by her husband of 66 years, G. William Collier. She is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law, Dr. William S. and Fran Collier and John P. Collier; her grandchildren, Matthew and his wife Colleen, Christopher, Michael and Michelle Collier; her great granddaughter, Cambridge Collier as well as her sister, Margaret Robjent.


A memorial service will be held at a later date to be announced. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Crosswicks Monthly Meeting, PO Box 456, Crosswicks, NJ 08515 or to the Silver Bay Association, 87 Silver Bay Rd., Silver Bay, NY 12874.
