Eileen Spence, 65, died at home on March 26, 2014. Eileen was born on May 2, 1948 in Watford Borough, Hertfordshire, England to Catherine O'Shea Chamberlain and Albert Robert George Chamberlain. With her parents and her sister, Anne, she emigrated from England in 1951 and settled in Hamilton Twp. Eileen graduated from St. Anthony's High School in 1966 and St. Francis School of Nursing in 1968. She worked as a registered nurse for most of her life and her passion was quilting. Among her many hallmarks, Eileen was loyal, compassionate, wise, generous, kind, warm and very loving.

Eileen is survived by her husband, Timothy E. Spence; her sister and brother-in-law, Anne and Andrew Labella; her sons and daughters-in-law, Christopher S. and Melissa W. Spence and Brian A. and Meaghan E. Spence; her daughter, Amanda L. Spence and her fiancé Timothy J. Houger; three grandchildren, Sophia Catherine, Joseph William and Eli Albert Spence; her sisters-in-law, Nancy Morrow, Joanne Haines and her husband, Robert, Carol Auletta and her husband Angelo; her brothers-in-law, Richard K. Spence and his wife, Claire and William C. Spence and his wife, Kathy. She is further survived by her three nieces and their families, Kelly Anne, Richard, Isabel and Drew Hinton, Andrea, Tony and Anthony Esposito and Julia and Brian Cirillo as well as many other nieces and nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held, 11am on Monday, March 31 ^st at St Vincent DePaul Church, 555 Yardville-Allentown Rd., Yardville. Interment will follow in St. John's Cemetery in Allentown. Friends may call Sunday from 7-9pm and again Monday from 9-10am at the Peppler Funeral Home, 114 S. Main St. Allentown.
