Edwin Skalak, 78, of Monroe Twp. passed away Sunday at Princeton Medical Center. Born in New York, NY; he was a resident of East Orange for many years before recently moving to Monroe Twp. A graduate of The Julliard School, Mr. Skalak was an active member of the American Guild of Organists. His love for life will be missed.

Edwin is survived by his wife Laura of 55 years; his children, David Skalak and his wife Claire Cardie of Ithaca, NY, Peter Skalak and his wife Cindy of Durham, NC and Judi Skalak and her fiancé Don Preuninger of Upper Freehold Twp., NJ; his grandchildren, Daniel, Lindsay, Seth and Joshua and a brother and two sisters.

Memorial service will be held Thursday 2pm at the Peppler Funeral Home, 114 S. Main St. Allentown, NJ. Interment will be private. (pepplerfh.com)
