Edwin Brangenberg, 89, of Vero Beach, Fl, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 19th at his daughter's home in Chestnut Ridge, NY. Born in Atlantic City, he resided in the Allentown area for many years before moving to Vero Beach and recently to Chestnut Ridge. He was a WWII, 8th AirForce Army AirCorp Veteran serving 4 years in the European Theater of Operation. After his military serve, Ed's career included Atlantic City Electric, Combustion Engineering and MacAndrews and Forbes. Ed was an avid golfer for most of his life and a wonderful and loving family man.
Son of the late Elsa and Harry Brangenberg, he was predeceased by his wife, Doris Hendrickson Brangenberg; he is survived by his wife, Doris Cheshire Shoop Brangenberg; three children, Cheryl McCurry, Richard Brangenberg and Jane Reynolds; seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held 12 noon on Tuesday, June 23rd at Allentown Presbyterian Cemetery, Allentown, NJ. Friends may call Tuesday 11 am until the time of service at the Peppler Funeral Home, 114 S. Main St. Allentown, NJ
