Obituary

Edward R. Pendleton, 83, passed away Saturday, August 4, 2012 at Compassionate Care Hospice in Trenton. Born in Lords Cove, Canada, he lived in Barnegate before moving to Mercerville 6 years ago. He was a Navy Veteran and retired from the Local Union # 408   as a truck driver for Utility SCBOLT of Elizabeth. Edward was a member of the Hightstown VFW Post 5700, the Elks Lodge #2518 of Lacey Township and the Tidewater Crabs Motorhome Club.

Husband of the late Gwendelyn E. Pendleton, he is survived by his son and daughter-in-law,  Kurt C. and Leslie Hiller of Palm Beach Gardens, FL; two daughters and sons-in-law,  Betty Lou and Thomas Estelle of Williamstown, NJ and Nancy M. and Lawrence Mackey of Waretown, NJ; six grandchildren; 10 great grand, and 1 great-great grandchild.

Funeral Services will be 1pm Tuesday, August 7 th at the Peppler Funeral Home, 114 S. Main St., Allentown, NJ. Entombment will follow in Princeton Memorial Park, Robbinsville. Friends may call from 10 am until time of service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 1 Union St., Suite 301, Robbinsville, NJ 08691 or the American Kidney Fund, 11921 Rockville Pike, Suite 300, Rockville, MD 20852.
