Edward Bruce Magowan, 74, passed away Tuesday, September 22, 2009 at his home in Indiantown, FL. Born in Trenton he was a Bordentown area resident until moving to Florida 8 years ago. He attended Muhlenberg College, in Allentown, PA and was an Air Force Veteran. Bruce worked for Retail Credit in Trenton, before joining the family business, eventually becoming owner/operator of Miller-Magowan Men's Store, in Bordentown City. He was a past president and member of the Bordentown Lions Club, the Bordentown Elks Lodge #2085 and was one of the early members establishing the Bordentown Business Association. Bruce was an avid golfer, leading him to relocate to Florida. .A place he truly loved.

Son of the late Albert and Katherine Magowan (nee Mount) and brother of the late M. Katherine German He is survived by his wife Gail C. Magowan and her two children and spouses, Mark and Meg Wakefield of Madison, WI and Lora and Will Korman of Clinton, NJ .
He is also survived by his former wife Helen J. Magowan and their four children and spouses, Scott and Patricia Magowan of Eastampton, Kevin and Cindy Magowan of Columbus, Cindi and Jim Kuti of Eastampton, Melanie and Tony de la Cruz of Bordentown City and ten grandchildren, Michael , Kristin, Jessica, Ashley, Jacob, Jenna, Mathew, Katlin, Fiona, and Alana.

Memorial Services will be 11:30 am Saturday, October 10, 2009, at the Peppler Funeral Home, 122 Crosswicks St., Bordentown. Friends may call from 9:30 am until time of service.
