Edward L. Lowicki, 73, of Bayonne, passed away Thursday, June 25th at Compassionate Care Hospice, Trenton. Born and raised in Jersey City, he resided in Bayonne for 41 years. A US Army veteran, Edward graduated from St. Peter's College in Jersey City. He retired from Jersey City School System where he was an elementary school teacher for 36 years. Ed was also a member of St. Vincent de Paul in Bayonne and the Elks Club of Bayonne.

Predeceased by two sisters, Joanne and Janice; He is survived by three daughters and two sons-in-law, Karen and Mark Prior of Pittstown, Barbara Lowicki and Jean and Michael Kohlhepp all of Allentown, NJ; three grandchildren, Paige and Matthew Prior and Madison Kohlhepp; a brother and sister-in-law, Thomas and Marie Fisher of Bayonne as well as nieces and nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10am Monday, June 29th at St. John's Church, 1282 Yardville-Allentown Road, Allentown. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family. Friends may call Sunday from 2-4pm and 7-9pm at the Peppler Funeral Home, 114 S. Main St. Allentown, NJ
