Obituary

Edna B. Grover, 77 of Cream Ridge, passed away Tuesday, November 4th at her home. Born in Virginia, she was a resident of Upper Freehold and Hamilton Townships for many years. She retired from AT&T after over 30 years of service. While employed there, she was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America. Edna was a talented sewer and needle worker and was a member of the Allentown Needle Work Guild. Her concern for animal welfare led her to become a charter member of the Popcorn Park Zoo. She was a friend of the Hornerstown Baptist Church and was an avid gardener. Edna also enjoyed bird watching and collecting dolls and miniatures. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and took great care of her family.

Predeceased by her sister, Vickie, Edna is survived by her husband of 56 years, Raymond C. Grover, Sr.; her son, Raymond C. Grover, Jr.; two grandchildren, R. Christopher Grover and Crystal Grover; Debbie Grover; three brothers, Johnny, Edwin and Erick Becker; a sister, Olivia Lucas; Lester and Leah Grover, Donald and Sylvia Grover and Warren and Diane Grover as well as nieces and nephews.

Service will be private at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be made to the Popcorn Park Zoo, Attn: Barbara, 1 Humane Way, Forked River, NJ 08731 or to APAW, P.O. Box 162, Princeton Junction., NJ, 08550. Arrangements under the direction of Peppler Funeral Home, Allentown.
