Edith E. Kubiak, 67, of Allentown, passed away peacefully and surrounded by her family on Saturday, September 26, 2015. Born in Trenton, she was a lifetime Allentown area resident and a graduate of Allentown High School. Edith retired from Selective Insurance and enjoyed to cook and do crossword puzzles. She loved animals, especially dogs and was a loving and caring mother and grandmother.

Daughter of the late Michael and Helen Kososky; she is survived by her devoted companion of 30 years, Phillip Schroeder; her daughters and sons-in-law, Donna and Jack Buffin of California, MD and Debra and Bruce Floystad of Waretown, NJ; her grandchildren, Rachel and Emily Buffin and Joseph and Amanda Floystad; her sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Cindy and Hans Bednarz of Wrightstown as well as her beloved dog Scooter.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday, October 14, 2015 at the Peppler Funeral Home, 114 S. Main St. Allentown. Friends may call between 5:30 and 7:30 pm at the funeral home.
