Edith G. Hlubik, 62, of New Egypt, passed away Tuesday, January 5, 2010 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, Hamilton. Born in Allentown, she was resident of the Allentown and New Egypt area all of her life. Edith was a member of the Sphinx Chapter No. 130 O.E.S.; was a member and genealogist for the New Egypt Historical Society and was a member of the Church of St. Monica in Jackson.

Daughter of the late Warren Grant, Sr.; she is survived by her husband, John A. Hlubik; her mother Olive Grant of Cream Ridge; her son and daughter-in-law, John W. and Cheryl Hlubik of New Egypt; her daughter and son-in-law, Erin and Ramon Martin of New Egypt; a sister and brother-in-law, Dorothy and Sam Hendrickson of Cream Ridge; a brother and sister-in-law, Warren and Lorraine Grant of Cream Ridge as well as many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

A memorial mass will be held 11am Friday, January 15th at St. Andrews Roman Catholic Church, 2489 Monmouth Rd, Jobstown. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Edith's memory to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure, Attn: Donor Services, PO Box 650309, Dallas, TX 75265 (www.komen.org).
