Edith A. Forker, 87, of Whiting, passed away Monday, January 24, 2011, at Whiting Health Care Center.  Born in Trenton, she was an area resident for many years before moving to Whiting. Mrs. Forker retired from Wenczel Tile in Trenton.

Daughter of the late Ed and Mayme Haverstraw, she was predeceased by her husband  Harry Forker and three sisters, Reba Kusmider, Irene Karolkiewicz and Hilda Wells. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Mary Ann Forker of Whiting; two daughters and a son-in-law, Joan Moore of Hamilton and Elizabeth and Philip Salvatore of Whiting; 6 grandchildren, Ronnie Caswell, Lisa Sabo and her husband Ken, Harry Forker and his wife Pat, Jane Pastore and her husband Mike, Sherri Forker and Lori Stern and her husband Bob; 13 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service will be held 11am Saturday, January 29 ^th at Peppler Funeral Home 114 So. Main St. Allentown.  Interment will follow in Allentown Presbyterian Cemetery.  Friends may call Friday from 5-8pm at the funeral home.
