Edith M. Boyce of Toms River passed away Tuesday, April 7th at Ocean County Medical Center, Brick. Born in Newark, she resided in Irvington for many years before moving to Toms River 25 years ago. Mrs. Boyce worked for many years as a medical assistant for Drs. Heymann and Leynor in Irvington and East Orange; she later retired from Sears in Toms River where she was in charge of the hardware department. She was a member of the O.E.S Vehslage Chapter No. 158 in South Orange and a member of the Toms River Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary. Edith was a loving mother, mother-in-law and grandmother.

Wife of the late Charles W. Boyce, Sr., she is survived by her children, Charles W. Boyce, Jr. and his wife Susan, Linda Beaupre and her husband William and Cindy Boyce as well as her grandchildren, Adam and Kristopher Beaupre and Carly Boyce.

Funeral service will be held 4pm Thursday, April 9th at the Peppler Funeral Home, 114 S. Main St. Allentown. The Rev. Horace Frantz will officiate. Friends may call Thursday 2-4pm at the funeral home. Cremation will be private at the convenience of the family.
