Earl S. VanMorter, 56, of Allentown, passed away Sunday, September 15, 2013 at the Trinitas Hospital in Union. Born in Trenton, Earl graduated from Allentown High School. He was also a retired police officer for Allentown Borough and East Windsor Township. Earl was a member of Rolling Thunder, Chapter 2 and of the Blue Knights, NJ I. He played softball for the Stanley Dancer Stables in New Egypt and also was a 2 ^nd Degree Black Belt.

Earl is survived by his two sons, Joshua A. VanMorter of PA and Zackery and his fiancée Sarah Sherman of Hamilton; a brother, Bruce W. VanMorter of Toms River; a sister, Annette VanMorter of Trenton; his former wife, Diana D. VanMorter Cagneux; as well as several nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held 4 to 7pm on Thursday, September 19 ^th at the Peppler Funeral Home, 114 South Main Street, Allentown, NJ 08501.
