E. June Wetzel, 86, of Neptune City passed away on Dec. 10, 2012 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, Hamilton, N.J.  Born in Bradley Beach to Robert and Nettie Reed Trimble, she was a lifelong shore resident.

June loved her summers on the beach, quilting, and being an outstanding wife, mother and grandmother.  She was a member for many years of the Bradley Beach United Methodist Church and its Ladies Guild, a 50 year member of the Order of the Eastern Star Chapter 214 and Rebecca Reel Quilters.

Predeceased by her parents, brother, two sisters and son-in-law, she is survived by her husband of 64 years Martin; a daughter, Melinda Deuchar of Hamilton Township; her son  M. Jeffrey (Gail) Wetzel of  Toms River; four grandchildren, Rebecca (Evan) Resnikoff, Margaret and Donald A. Deuchar  and Eric Wetzel and a great-grandson Lachlann Resnikoff.

Services will be held Friday December 14, 2012 at 12pm with the Rev. James Pruner officiating.  Viewing is from 11am to time of service at the Peppler Funeral Home, 114 South Main St. Allentown, N.J.  Graveside Services and burial will be at Wall Cemetery, 2414 Old Mill Rd, Spring Lake Heights.
