Dorothy O'Loughlin, 83, of Monroe, NJ, passed away peacefully at Princeton Medical Center on Sunday, December 2, 2018. Born in Maspeth, Queens, she lived in Somerset, New Jersey before moving to Toms River in 1991. She then moved to Monroe in 2015 to be closer to family.

Dorothy was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend. She enjoyed playing tennis and spending time with her children and grandchildren. Dorothy was an avid Yankees and Giants fan. She met her beloved husband while working at NBC Studios and later, Dorothy went on to have a fulfilling career at Rutgers University.  After retirement, she volunteered at Community Medical Center in Toms River.

She was predeceased by her parents, Tony and Elsie Spagna, her daughter, Mary O'Loughlin, her beloved husband, Charles and her sister, Jean O'Neill. She is survived by her son, Douglas O'Loughlin and wife Christy, her son, Brian O'Loughlin, her daughter, Carol Hanson and husband Brett, her son, Reverend Robert O'Loughlin and wife Joy, and her daughter, Patricia Karl and husband Michael. Also surviving are her grandchildren Brian, Jaclyn, Kerri, Kelly, Trevor, Krista, Matthew, and Julia as well as nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 5, 2018 from 4-8 p.m. at Peppler Funeral Home, 114 South Main Steet, Allentown, New Jersey. A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday at 10 a.m. at St. John's Church, 1282 Yardville-Allentown Road, Allentown. Burial will follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery in Toms River. In lieu of flowers, a memorial contribution in Dorothy's name can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, PO Box 1893 Memphis, TN 38101, or to your favorite charity.
