Dorothy M. Kwiatkowski, 72, of Asbury Park passed away Sunday, May 25, 2014 at her home. Born in Flushing, NY, Dorothy resided in Howell for most of her life prior to moving to Asbury Park. She worked as a bookkeeper for her husband's company, Ed Kwiatkowski R.V. Service. Dorothy was active with the Howell community. She was a member of the Howell Chamber of Commerce and volunteered for many community committees, including serving as a Poll Taker for many years. She enjoyed keeping active and loved the shore, taking walks on the boardwalk and spending time with her grandchildren.

Predeceased by her husband, Edward Kwiatkowski, Dorothy is survived by two daughters; Deborah Gutter and her husband Russ and Alice Kwiatkowski and her longtime companion, Anthony Marraccini; two grandchildren, Sara and Russell Gutter; her brothers and sisters-in-law, Thomas and Annette, Michael and Margo and Stanley and Jeanette Filipkowski; her sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Nancy and Leonard Bednarski as well as many nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held 12:30-1:30pm on Thursday, May 29 ^th at the Peppler Funeral Home, 114 S. Main St. Allentown. A graveside service will follow in the Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery in Arneytown. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society,2310 Route 34, Suite 1D, Manasquan, NJ 08736.
