Dorothy Kluender, 93, of Allentown, passed away Sunday, October 19, 2014 at her home. Born in Trenton, she was a lifetime Trenton resident, prior to moving to Allentown in 1995. A proud graduate of Rider College, Dorothy was the Bureau Chief for Employer Contributions at the State of New Jersey, Department of Labor and Industry. She was an adventurous world traveler, excellent cook, welcoming friend and avid reader. Dorothy adored her family and was a great mother and the best grandmother ever.
Daughter of the late Anna Tremetiere and Elmer Dal Corso, she was predeceased by her siblings, E.R. (Nem) Dal Corso and Marilyn Linker. Dorothy is survived by her two daughters and sons-in-law, Kathleen and Joseph Fidler and Aileen and George Muste; her grandchildren, Matthew and Laura Fidler, Robert and Amy Elizabeth Decillis and KatyBeth Muste; her great grandchildren, Jack and Lucy Janicsek as well as many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held 12pm on Friday, October 24th at the Peppler Funeral Home, 114 S. Main St. Allentown. Interment will follow in St. John's Cemetery. Friends may call Friday from 10 am until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Allentown Public Library Association, PO Box, 383, Allentown, NJ 08501.
