Dorothy P. Gaughan, 89, of Chesterfield, passed away Tuesday, June 17, 2025 at her home with her son by her side. Born in Shenandoah, PA, she was a resident of Chesterfield since 1974. Dorothy graduated from the Registered Nurse Program at Philadelphia General Hospital (PGH) and had a 40-year career in operating room nursing and psychiatric care.

Daughter of the late Lucy and Walter Voicheck, she was predeceased by her husband, Joseph E. Gaughan. Dorothy is survived by her son, Sean Gaughan and his fiancée, Meiling Yang; her grandsons, Jackson and Joshua Gaughan and her brothers, Joseph (Carol) Voicheck and Ronald (Joyce) Voicheck. She will be remembered by her kind and generous caregivers, Leny Misiano, Teresa Gonzales and Angela Piplos.
