Dorothy R. Eisler, 82, of Hamilton, passed away Monday, August 20, 2012 at her home.  Born in Mercer County, Dorothy was a waitress for most of her life at various places.  She was a former member of the Memorial Baptist Church in Yardville where she sang in the choir.  Dorothy was a loving and caring woman who was devoted to her family and friends. She enjoyed playing bingo and crocheting.

Daughter of the late Walter and Flora Allen, she is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Dale and David Fiel of Little Egg Harbor and Barbara and Alvan ""Butch"" Tenney of Ewing; a son, Ted Johnson of Bensalem, PA; two brothers, Carl Hoagland of Lady Lakes, FL and Albert Allen of Browns Mills; a sister, Flora Louise Miller of Columbus; four grandchildren, Tammy, David, Russell and George; seven great grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held Saturday, August 25 ^th from 3-5pm with a funeral service at 5pm at the Peppler Funeral Home 114 So. Main St. Allentown. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Deborah Heart and Lung Center, 212 Trenton Rd, Browns Mills, NJ 08015.
