Doris L. Sprague, 76, of Columbus, passed away Sunday, June 29th at St. Francis Medical Center, Trenton. Born in Trenton, she was a resident of Allentown for most of her life before moving to Columbus 8 years ago. A retired employee of the State of New Jersey, Division of Building and Construction, Mrs. Sprague was a member of the Allentown United Methodist Church.

Daughter of the late Clifford F. and Florence V. Allen; she is survived by her husband of 57 years, Donald S. Sprague; a brother, Jack Allen of Myrtle Creek, OR; a sister, Hila J. Egyud of Bordentown and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held Saturday July 5th at the Peppler Funeral Home, 114 S. Main St., Allentown. Interment will follow in Emleys Hill Cemetery, Cream Ridge. Friends may call Saturday from 9 until the time of service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Mansfield Twp.
