Doris J. Eck, 86 of Columbus, passed away Saturday, March 5, 2016 at her home. Born in Newark, she grew up in the Union area and later moved to Cream Ridge, prior to moving to Columbus 14 years ago. Doris enjoyed cooking and baking and loved traveling with her husband.

Daughter of the late Edward and Estelle Yuengel, she is survived by her husband, Paul Eck; her children and their spouses, Mark and Norma Eck of Marlton, Peter and Kim Eck of Bloomsbury, Pamela and Mike Mancini of Germantown, MD and Susan Eck Jones of Blairstown as well as her grandchildren, Chris and Justin Mancini, Abigail and Nicole Eck and Lillian Eck Jones.

Funeral service will be held 2pm on Sunday, March 13th at the Peppler Funeral Home, 122 Crosswicks St., Bordentown. Friends may call Sunday from 12pm until the time of service. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 400 Morris Ave., Suite 251, Denville, NJ 07834.
