Doris G. Buckley, 95, of Hamilton Square, passed away Monday, October 14, 2024 surrounded by her loving family. Born in Trenton, she was a longtime Robbinsville resident and enjoyed spending the winters in St. Augustine, Fl. She was an avid reader and loved to travel, taking trips with her husband all over the world.  She was a parishioner of St. Gregory the Great Parish in Hamilton Square and was a member of the church's Altar Rosary Society and the Red Hats Society in St. Augustine Fl.

Doris adored her grandchildren and was a loving mother to her seven children and a devoted wife to her husband Vincent, who predeceased her nearly 20 years ago. She missed him dearly and is now reunited with him in heaven.

Daughter of the late Dolly and Hugh Carr, she was predeceased by her husband, Vincent Buckley; her children, Sheila Carr Fairchild, Timothy Hugh Buckley, and Douglas Buckley; her grandson, Justyn T. Carr; her son-in-law, Gilbert W. Hancock; and her very dear friend, Claire Belyung. Doris is survived by her children and their partners, Colleen Flanner-Hancock (Russell J. Vizzini) of Hamilton Square, Vincent J. Buckley (Debbie) of Emerald Isle, NC, Hugh Carr Buckley (Trish) of Cream Ridge, and Thomas M. Buckley of New Bern, NC; her son-in-law, Brad Fairchild of Deptford. She was the loving Granny to her beloved grandchildren, Megan A. Flanner, Timothy P. Flanner, Shawn P. Carr (Kathy), Vincent Fairchild, Shannon M. Buckley (Samantha), Brianna E. Jackle (Michael), and Cole Vincent Buckley and her great granddaughters, Sydnee Paige Carr and Grace Sage Buckley. Doris is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank the staff of Preferred Care in Hamilton and the hospice team at Swan Hospice, especially Doris' aid, Gifty Yeboah.

A visitation will be held from 4-7pm on Friday, October 18th at the Peppler Funeral Home, 114 S. Main St. Allentown.  Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
