Doris J. Amato, 73, of Bridgewater, passed away Wednesday, May 29, 2013 with her family by her side.  Born in Brooklyn, she was a longtime resident of the Bridgewater area.  Doris retired in 2006 from William Zinsser where she worked as an administration assistant.  She was a true animal lover and her family & pets were the most important things to her.

Daughter of the late Peter and Elsie Clauburg; Doris is survived by her children JoAnn and David Ritz of Hamilton and Matthew and Ethel Amato of Lawrenceville; three grandchildren, Sara and Briana Fitzpatrick and Madison Amato as well as her former husband Frank M. Amato.

A funeral service will be held 11am Tuesday, June 4 ^th at the Peppler Funeral Home, 114 S. Main St. Allentown, NJ.  Sr. Pastor Craig Casey of Princeton Community Church will officiate.  Friends may call Monday from 6pm to 9pm at the funeral home.
